My husband is the scientist, physics teacher, and alternative energy guru, and while he is extremely imaginative – one of the many things I admire about him - I am the more right brained, creative of the two. My background and degrees are in theater and music, performance, and communication. I have always had a love of arts and crafts – of what people can create with their own two hands. I have a deep respect for people who create beauty from chaos and who work with nature to make something useful and beautiful. The very act of creating order and meaning from the untapped energy around us is a miracle – and I am fascinated by it. I hope to help create a destination that celebrates this miracle of creativity in an atmosphere and in actual buildings that co-create with the planet, not just take energy from it. The Green Leaf Inn will celebrate the creativity in all people from the artisans whose work will be displayed to the actual landscape and structure of the buildings.
