I have been an energy entrepreneur since the 1980s including sustainable building (SIPS), modular combined heat and power systems, marketing natural gas and electricty nationwide to businesses, solar, energy efficiency project developer and now the development of The Green Leaf Inn. I graduated with a Distributive Science Degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and am a member of the Association of Energy Engineers with the Certified Energy Procurement designation.
As the managing partner of Community Green Energy, LLC (green marketing consultant, renewable energy developer and creator of the Community Green Energy Initiatives to expand the development of a green economy- www.chicagogei.com ), The Green Leaf Inn represents a blank canvas for me to create a demonstration and learning center of sustainable building and energy technologies. The entire process is a co-creation with my wife Catherine of our life and journey together.
